For certain works, you can use the "Make an Offer" option under the "acquire this work" button.
There is a limit to the amount you can offer. If the amount is accepted in the box, you can submit it to the gallery by finalizing the payment.
The fact that it has been accepted in the box does not mean your offer has been approved.
After submitting your offer and making payment, the gallery can accept or decline the proposal. If you refuse, you will be refunded immediately.
