Reselling artworks between individuals is now possible on Artsper, Europe’s leading contemporary art marketplace. This feature allows private sellers to easily list artworks they already own, whether purchased on Artsper or elsewhere.

How to access the art reselling service on Artsper?
Click the “Sell” button in the site header.
If not logged in, you will be redirected to a welcome page to select your profile: Artist, Gallery, or Private Seller.
If logged in, you access the listing form directly.
How to resell an artwork on Artsper?
Resell an artwork bought on Artsper
From your account, click “Resell this artwork”.
The form will be pre-filled with existing information.
Add recent photos, update details, set your price, and confirm your contact info.
Resell an artwork bought elsewhere
Fill in a blank form.
Only artworks from a limited list of best-selling artists are accepted.
Two documents are required:
Purchase invoice
Certificate of authenticity
Where can I find my artworks for sale?
All your artworks are accessible in your client account under “My Shop”. You can:
View active listings
Pause or delete an artwork
Create promotions
Check sold artworks and approval dates
What are the moderation rules for reselling artworks?
Artworks bought on Artsper
Accepted case by case
Design artworks not accepted
No minimum or maximum price limit
Editions must be numbered and signed if more than 300 copies
Artworks bought elsewhere
Accepted case by case with required documents
Invoice and certificate of authenticity required
Numbered and signed editions only (if >300 copies)
Price must follow artist’s market value and be lower than comparable listings
What about shipping fees for reselling artworks?
Shipping fees are covered by Artsper. Upon sale validation, a prepaid label (Upela) will be sent for shipping.
What if my artwork is refused or there is an issue?
If refused, you will receive an email with rejection reasons and a link to our terms.

Managing active artworks
Activation: Confirmation email upon approval.
Follow-up:
3 months after approval: reminder to confirm availability.
6 months after approval: automatic deactivation with reactivation option.
What to do if my artwork is damaged or incorrect?
Take photos upon receipt.
Contact support at [email protected] with photos and order number.
We will guide you on returns, refunds, or other solutions.
Can I return an artwork?
You have a 14-day legal withdrawal period.
Artwork must be in original condition, well protected.
Return shipping fees are covered by Artsper.

When will I be paid after reselling?
Payment is made 14 days after buyer confirms receipt.
Payments processed every Wednesday via bank transfer.
What commission does Artsper take?
Artsper charges a fixed 15% VAT excluded commission on the final sale price.
